General responsibilities:
Career Workers are responsible to work with adults with developmental disabilities,
to help them with Career Planning, leisure & recreational pursuits, employment
and volunteer work, and community inclusion, etc. Individuals require mental health,
behavioral or emotional supports. Ability to work and communicate well within a
team environment. Ability to work with families. Documentation as needed.
Physical job demands:
Ability to implement support plans as needed, ability to pursue activities of interest
to individual in service.
Typical requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Direct experience and education in Human Services
preferred. Good verbal (receptive and expressive) and written English language skills
required.
Wage:Based on education and experience.
