CAREER SUPPORT POSITION/COMMUNITY REHABILITATION WORKER
General responsibilities: Career Workers are responsible to work with adults with developmental disabilities, to help them with Career Planning, leisure & recreational pursuits, employment and volunteer work, and community inclusion, etc. Individuals require mental health, behavioral or emotional supports. Ability to work and communicate well within a team environment. Ability to work with families. Documentation as needed. Physical job demands: Ability to implement support plans as needed, ability to pursue activities of interest to individual in service. Typical requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Direct experience and education in Human Services preferred. Good verbal (receptive and expressive) and written English language skills required. Wage: Wages based on experience and education.

C9	MacKenzie Town SE	Tues & Thurs 9am-3pm	Candidate must be willing to assist and motivate the client in establishing a productive schedule of activities.
C3	Huntington NW	Tuesday & Thursday 9-3	Supporting an individual within their home and out in the community. Personal care is required when working in this position. Candidates should be prepared to expect repetitive behaviors each and every shift.
C2	Simons Valley NW	Monday, Wednesday, Friday 0900-1500	Candidates applying for this position should have experience working with clients who have behavioral concerns. When working a shift one could expect to encounter agitation, grabbing, yelling, swearing, and power struggles. Staff should have strong communication skills, and a willingness to support the client with personal boundaries in regards to strangers of the opposite sex.
C11	Millrise, SW	Mon, Wed, Fri 9am-3pm	Candidates applying for this position should have experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges. One could expect to enounter the use of inappropriate language directed at members of the opposite sex that the client deems as attractive. A vehicle is required for this position.
C14	Canyon Meadows SW	Tues & Thurs 9am-3pm	Successful candidate must have experience working with mental health challenges.
C16	Simons Valley NW	Tues & Thurs 9am-3pm	Successful candidate should have experience providing personal care and working with behavioural challenges. Candidate must also be willing to participate in community activities with the client.
C20	Vista NE	Mon, Wed, Fri 9am - 3pm	Successful candidate must have experience working with mental health and behavioral challenges.
C5	Westwood SW	Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-4pm (Or 9am-3pm Flexible in terms of which schedule is selected)	Candidates applying for this position should have experience supporting clients with behavioral challenges and mental health concerns. Experience supporting individuals with Schizophreniz and Paranoia would be considered an asset. Candidates should be motivated to help the individual to search for employment, and to participate actively with the individual in such things as working out at the gym, or swimming.
